The singer was born on 26 November 1986 on the 26th of November, 1986 in Santa Monica California in the United States of America. She is the child of Vincenzo Barba and her father, as well as Valerie Barba. Her family and she moved from Point Pleasant New Jersey when she was six years old. Red Bank Catholic High School is where she received her education formal at the time in New Jersey. She graduated from Catholic University in New Jersey with a bachelor's degree. Her first violin lessons began at the age four, and she was known as the Violin Girl. Her performances led to being called Violin Girl. She also taught kids from the locality on how to play the violin. At the age of 19 she was a contestant on Season 6 of American Idol and sang the 1976 hit song Free. She was eventually eliminated when she was ranked 16th in American Idol. She has also performed several other tracks, such as "The Christmas Song" (2009) and Out for Blood (2010).
